Printing
Requirements: Tennis Life magazine is printed
on web offset magazine presses. Bleeds must extend 1/8”
past the actual page dimensions. (Example: A magazine
with an 8 3/8” x 10 7/8” trim size uses 8
5/8” x 11 1/8” film for a full-page bleed.)
B&W Advertisements: All artwork should be
submitted on disk with a laser print attached.
Four-Color Advertisements: Require a color proof
to ensure correct color of advertisement. QUARKXPRESS,
ILLUSTRATOR and PHOTOSHOP documents using a Macintosh
platform. We do not support other layout or word
processing programs. Include all graphics. If color,
use or convert to CMYK. If black and white, use grayscale.
Photos and other graphics should be TIFF or EPS
files. Photos should be at least 274 DPI at the finished
size. Line work should be at least 1000 dpi. Do not
send JPEGs or Corel draw graphics. Include all
fonts (Screen & Printer) that were used to create
the document. Do not use TrueType fonts. Use PostScript
fonts if possible. All artwork should be provided on
CDs or Zip disks with laser prints attached. Collecting
files using a preflight program is highly recommended.
Program files that need additional work may incur extra
fees. E-mailed ads are not acceptable.
* If sending an Illustrator.eps file, ALL TEXT MUST
BE converted to outlines. |
