WHAT EXACTLY IS A SLINGHOPPER?
by: Ken Dehart

It's not often that a tennis product comes on the scene that dramatically improves the way I teach tennis. Yet that's what happened when I first wrapped a new SlingHopper Pro drill bag around my waist. By letting me have immediate access to as many as 40 balls, I experienced total mobility and could now pay full attention to my student's needs, without stopping to retrieve balls from a cart. With the SlingHopper Pro, I vary my shots while moving to any area of the court. It turned a traditional "dead ball feeding" session into an active playing session.

Paul Tobin, who is a USPTA & PTR teaching pro, designed the concept out of necessity. He believed there had to be a better way than a cart and ball hopper to juice up his lesson plans and cut down on the constant starts and stops. Through various designs and product samples, the SlingHopper was born. It not only looks good, it shapes the waist in such a way that it does not interfere with feeding and hitting. It also comes in right and left handed versions.

In all my 25 years of coaching and promoting tennis, I have not come across a product with such an innovative approach to ball feeding. The SlingHopper is simple but what it enables me to do is revolutionary.

Ken Dehart is a USPTA & PTR Master Professional and is the head Tennis Director at San Jose Swim & Racquet Club in San Jose, CA. Ken is also a guest speaker at many tennis conventions and symposiums around the World.
