WILSON’S INVOLVEMENT IN TENNIS EDUCATION EXPANDS WITH NEW EZ TENNIS LINE

First Ever Color-Coded Teaching System Makes Tennis Easy to Teach & Learn

Wilson Racquet Sports has developed a new line of tennis instructional equipment, as part of their expanding commitment to tennis education programs throughout the country.   The EZ Tennis line, designed for teaching professionals running entry-level programs, is the first equipment line and color-coded racket system for beginners that make the fundamentals of tennis easier to comprehend.

Wilson’s EZ Tennis rackets and grips are color-coded red and yellow to simplify hand positioning and indicate which side of the racket should be used during forehand and backhand strokes.  EZ Tennis rackets are available in 17”, 19”, 21”, 23” and 25” lengths.  The 17” is the first Wilson racket made in that length, which is ideal for children as young as ages two to three.

“Wilson is committed to growing the next generation of tennis players by offering instructors and students the equipment to make teaching and learning tennis fun and easy,” James Burda, Manager of US Promotions for Wilson, said.  “EZ Tennis is a comprehensive training system that allows even the youngest beginners to grasp the fundamentals of tennis in an engaging way.”

In addition to rackets, the EZ Tennis line also includes Set-up Targets, Dots, Court Lines, Multi-Use Cones, Tennis Nets (10’ and 16.5’), Foam Balls and Transitional Play Balls.  This line is designed as a comprehensive instructional system and is available exclusively to teaching professionals and Wilson’s Ad Staff, a group of more than 3,500 tennis professionals and instructors endorsed by Wilson. The EZ Tennis line will also be used by Physical Education teachers, in conjunction with the United States Tennis Association USA School Tennis Program, which brings tennis instruction to more than 6,500 K-12 schools nationwide.  Wilson Racquet Sports has been the official racket supplier of USA School Tennis since 1985.
